Alan Bergman for Congress
Let it be heard in Washington! It's as easy as ABC!

On July Fourth, Alan manned the Indian River Republican Club booth at River View Park in Sebastian. Alan is joined by North Indian River County Republican Club President Irene Bush and Dr. Michael Weiss, a candidate for County Hospital District, Seat 7.

Alan made several visits to the Moving Wall tribute to Viet Nam veterans,  which was at Wickham Park from 4/21/08 through 4/27/08, and which also contained tributes to more recent military campaigns and 9/11.

The Memorial included a replica of the Viet Nam Wall in Washington, D.C., as well as other iconic images, such as the lost soldier/sailor/marine/airman display, floral displays of unit insignia, and the Purple Heart image.

The Wall brought back memories of old friends, some of whom returned, and some of whom gave all.

The Purple Heart over the Viet Nam Combat Badge signifies a soldier/sailor/marine/airman lost or injured in Viet Nam.

Another portion of the display honored 9/11.

As a 9/11 survivor, Alan had a very emotional response to this portion of the Memorial. He spent a moment of silence remembering his office mates and friends who didn't make it out that day.

Alan has spent much time meeting with community leaders, such as Veterans' group officers, to learn the needs of his constituents.
